Typical Duties Include:

  • Organizing investor outreach events
  • Speaking at investor outreach events
  • Conducting or supporting investor education presentations
  • Staffing OIEA tables at investor outreach events, conferences and expos
  • Creating, reviewing, editing, updating and proofing PowerPoint Presentations and other documents for format, presentation and completeness
  • Acting as a point of contact for the Regional Offices and responding to their requests and questions
  • Acting as a point of contact for other federal agencies and coordinating and promoting joint investor outreach events
  • Promoting OIEA engagement with diverse and underserved investors
  • Researching and proposing innovative investor outreach events, in accordance with SEC and OIEA guidelines
  • Drafting articles, emails and other communications to help promote OIEA investor outreach events

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:

SK-14: Applicant must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS/SK-13 level: Planning, promoting, and participating in outreach events or similar programs to advance financial literacy, investor education or initiatives that provide financial education to consumers or investors.

SEC COMPENSATION PROGRAM: The overall salary range listed above is provided for informational purposes as it represents the full range that is applicable to current employees in this occupation/grade; however, a selectee's initial pay is always set below the maximum rate of the range.
